About TokenTracker
TokenTracker is a web service which issues electronic tokens which can be inserted into web content. TokenTracker will then track where these tokens appear on the web and generate analytics about where, when, who and unique visitors to the tokens.
TokenTracker allows users to gain an understanding of where their content is being syndicated on the web and know what is popular. Assign your own custom fields to tokens such as tags, names, authors, id or whatever you want - then analyze which fields are being tracked. You could even submit fields automatically by combining the OpenCalais web service.
TokenTracker offers an API to get tokens and insert into your web content. The API is well documented explaining how to set and get tokens. TokenTracker provides examples and a PHP class library which can be used within your own applications.
TokenTracker also provide a free plugin for WordPress. When you publish a new post (or page) a token will be automatically issued and inserted into your post. TokenTracker will then track where your posts get seen on the web.
TokenTracker offers premium services including: detailed analytical reports, token tracking filters, unlimited custom fields/tags, increased API limits, Service Level Agreements and customer support. TokenTracker accounts are free even for commercial use.
