TokenTracker activates custom fields feature

By Mark Ashcroft - Saturday, October 17th, 2009 and is filed under Uncategorized.

We are pleased to announce that we have completed and now made available custom fields for tokens.

You can now assign your own custom fields to tokens, such as tags, names, place, id, coordinates, or anything you want.

An example of your own custom field would be assigning tags to your web content. Our free plugin for WordPress will automatically assign the Posts tags to the token. Then you’ll be able to see which tags are most popular through syndication. You could even combine the Tagaroo WP plugin which will automatically generate tags based on your Posts content. Tagaroo uses the power of the OpenCalais web service.

Our API gives an example of how to assign custom fields to tokens.
